This website is operated by St. Lawrence High School & PU College, run under Shreyas Educational Society, at 95/8, Magadi Main Rd, Asthagrama Layout, Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560079, India (referred to below as "the school", "we", or "us").

We know that when you enquire about admission you are sharing details about your family. We treat that information carefully and collect only what we actually need in order to reply to you.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

The only place this website collects personal information is the admission inquiry form, which appears on the home, admissions, academics and contact pages. When you submit it, we receive:

We do not ask for your child's name, date of birth, photograph, Aadhaar number, or any other identity document through this website. Documents required for admission are collected in person at the school office, not online.

Information collected automatically

When your inquiry is submitted, our server records the IP address the submission came from. This is used only to identify and block spam and abuse. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server access logs, as any web host does.

This website sets no cookies of its own, and uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not track you across other websites.

2. How we use your information

We use what you send us only to:

• respond to your admission enquiry by phone, email or WhatsApp;
• arrange a campus visit or counselling session if you want one;
• answer questions about fees, eligibility, documents or the admission process;
• keep an internal record of enquiries for the admission cycle they relate to.

We do not use your details for marketing unrelated to your enquiry, and we do not add you to bulk mailing lists.

3. Who can see your information

Inquiry form submissions are emailed to the school's official address, st.lawrence.s.kpalya@gmail.com, and a copy is stored in a protected file on the website's server that is not publicly accessible. Access is limited to the school's admissions staff and management.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, ever. We do not share it with other schools, coaching centres, or any commercial third party.

We may share information only where:

• you have asked us to (for example, to arrange something on your behalf);
• our web hosting or email provider processes it purely as part of delivering the service to us;
• we are required to by law, a court, or a government authority.

4. Third-party services on this website

A few parts of this site load content from other companies. When they load, those companies may receive your IP address and basic browser information, under their own privacy policies rather than ours:

• Google Maps — the map embedded on our Contact page. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — the typeface used across the site.
• WhatsApp — only if you choose to tap a WhatsApp link, which opens WhatsApp and is governed by their policy.

5. How long we keep it

We keep admission enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and to complete the admission cycle your enquiry relates to. After that, records that did not lead to an admission are deleted from our website records.

If your child is admitted, their student records are then maintained by the school office under our normal school record-keeping practice, which is separate from this website.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time — see section 7.

6. How we protect it

• The entire website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
• The internal copy of inquiry records is blocked from public access at the web server level.
• The form includes anti-spam protection so automated submissions are discarded.
• Access to enquiry emails is limited to school staff who need it.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as identity document numbers or financial details through the website form.

7. Your choices and rights

You may contact us at any time to:

• ask what information about you we hold;
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
• ask us to delete your enquiry;
• withdraw your consent and ask us to stop contacting you.

8. Children's privacy

This website is intended to be used by parents and guardians, not by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this website. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

This site links to external websites, including Google Maps and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any website we link to. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

10. Changes to this policy
